Before this project, the company had little to no online presence and was highly dependent on third-party platforms such as TripAdvisor. The main challenge was to help them gain independence by creating a website capable of generating direct bookings while improving visibility through SEO.
By building a clear, immersive, and search-optimized website, the company significantly reduced its reliance on external platforms. In the year following the site’s launch, direct bookings increased by 34%, with more than 350 reservations made directly through the website.
The result is a strong digital foundation that supports both brand identity and long-term revenue growth.
Face to Face Night Walks is a Costa Rica–based company specializing in guided nocturnal wildlife tours in Puerto Jiménez, Tamarindo, and Tortuguero. The goal of the project was to create a strong online presence through a new visual identity and a website that would reflect the unique atmosphere of night exploration while supporting business growth.
From branding to Webflow development, I designed and built the website with a strong focus on immersion, storytelling, and performance.
When creating the visual identity, I aimed to establish a direct connection with the nature of the tours. As the company operates exclusively at night, the concept was built around deep blue tones representing darkness, combined with vibrant yellow accents symbolizing the light of headlamps used to discover wildlife.
This contrast helped convey both the mystery of the jungle at night and the sense of guided exploration, while giving the brand a distinctive and memorable identity.
The website follows a clear and conventional structure, with a strong emphasis on the homepage to create an immersive and wild atmosphere. A key objective was to showcase the richness of nocturnal wildlife and allow visitors to imagine themselves walking through the jungle after dark.
To leverage the company’s strong reputation, a dedicated “They Loved It” section was implemented to display recent client reviews and photos from tours. This feature was integrated using Elfsight, which provides reliable and well-integrated solutions for Webflow projects.
Dedicated pages were also created for each location, featuring tour images, guide profiles, and examples of species commonly observed. Webflow CMS collections were used to structure this content efficiently and allow easy updates.
